Glacial acrylic acid (GAA) is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor that is miscible with water, alcohols, and ethers. It is an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid that undergoes typical reactions of carboxylic acids and vinyl compounds. It is used to produce polymers and acrylates and as a raw material for chemical syntheses.

Glacial acrylic acid is used as an additive for various products due to its flexibility, good weather resistance, adhesion, abrasion resistance, and oil resistance.
